The Iranian Youth Cinema Society reported on Monday that ‘Days of Ignorance’, written and directed by Abolfazl Tajik, won the best film editing award in the Mexican event.
The film is about Ali Mohammad, an 84-year-old man, the last felt-maker in a village in Neyshabur County.
The documentary previously took part in several film festivals in Iran and across the world, including the 19th Ischia International Film Festival in Italy, as well as the 37th Tehran International Short Film Festival and the 51st Roshd International Film Festival, both in Iran.
The BJX, Bajio International Film Festival “concentrates its efforts on making cinematographic art a reality accessible to all audiences”. It also “motivates new creative talents and the artistic community to produce audiovisual expressions in all contexts”.
